Acceptance will be based primarily on the cars heritage.

No car, newly assembled or recreated, with no original parts, will be accepted unless the original car is no longer in existance or is unavailable. It must also have approval from the original owner(s) or their family (heirs) that they endorsed the recreation of the car and that it accurately and faithfully represents the original car.

In addition, effective January 1, 2008, no car will be accepted if the original car or a similar car was not active at some point during the years from 1952 through 1972.
